SATURDAY, AUGUST 04:   LECTURE PROGRAM, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Plus Concert from 7-9 P.M. on the banks of the C & O Canal. And later, after dinner-on-your own on the Canal or Old Town, Tall Tales & Urban Legends, first-hand Fortean Stories and Psychic Readings until midnight in the Lecture Hall. Audience participation encouraged.

Robert Swiatek, a long term, widely respected UFO researcher, is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Fund for UFO Research (FUFORS) and on the national Board of Directors for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), works as a physicist/attorney with the U.S. Patent Office. Rob has a new illustrated talk on the “UFO Wave of the Summer of ‘47, Believe It or Not” which entails other, lesser known, ‘47 sightings and how they compare to current sightings.

Antonio Huneeus, International science journalist, former consulting editor and columnist for Fate Magazine is the co-author of the UFO Briefing Document and editor of A Study Guide to UFOs, Psychic & Paranormal Phenomena in the USSR. Antonio will present an amazing illustrated talk on “18th-Century Phenomenal Forteana-Cagliostro, Mesmer, Swendenborg, Count St. Germain, Dom Pernetti (the Alchemical Dictionary), Cazotte, the Beast of Gevaudon, Free Masonry and more” based on his upcoming book.

Sue Swiatek, is a government contractor for the Department of Defense and is State Director of VA MUFON and Editor of the new Journal of Abduction Research (JAR). She will present “Musical High Weirdness-Songs of the Mouth”, a complilation of early American folk songs highlighting tall tales of strange phenomena. A sing-a-long will be conducted throughout the talk so bring your best voice as it should prove to be a vox popular.

Dr. Bruce Maccabee is the lauded author of the FBI-UFO Connection. He is a Naval optical physicist from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and past president of the Fund for UFO Research. Bruce, just back from a gangbuster presentation in Roswell, N.M. will reprise his talk on “The 40th Anniversary of Roswell Plus Little Known Information” on this extraordinary sighting. Bruce says he will knock the audience’s socks off once again!

Jason Dzubow, an attorney in practice in Washington, DC and recent Fate Magazine contributor, just back from a trip to Peru and Boliva, will present a fortean look at the sacred sights of Machu Picchu, Tiahuanaco and more.

Jennifer Stein, a film documentarian who has worked with Zechariah Sitchin, is also head of a Philadelphia WhattheBleep Group and State Director of PA MUFON. She will do a presentation on the current spate of Crop Circles in America and abroad and her unique take on this puzzling phenomena.

Sharon Jarvis is a book editor, an independent literary agent with her own firm and a former Editor with Playboy and Ballantine Books. A long-time INFO member, Sharon will delight the audience with first-hand experiences of ghosts and fortean phenomena in “Tripping the Fright Fantastic.”


SUNDAY, AUGUST 04:   Ghost Tour / Rocky Mountain Gap Park:

Exploring with hosts Al & Phyllis or canoeing with Video Dave; Morning ghost tour walk with a costumed guide of historic, haunted Cumberland. After lunch visit the huge waterfall (trail-1/4 mile walk from parking) at Rocky Mountain Gap State Park; canoe or hike the beautiful environs.
