LECTURE PROGRAM

John Anthony West, Emmy Award-winning, world-renowned author of Serpent In The Sky: The High Wisdom of Ancient Egypt, and The Traveler’s Key to Egypt, will dazzle you with an informal, anecdotal, highly entertaining talk more or less devoted to G.I. Gurdjieff, rogue philosopher, dance master, hypnotist, womanizing roistering sage, prophet (maybe), one of the last century’s most remarkable men; his life, his work, the implications of that work and whatever else comes to mind in “Gurdjief: How to Wake Up and (Maybe) Cope With the Nightmare.”

Dr. Marion Dolan, Ph.D, back from a recent trip to France, is an adjunct professor at Indiana University of PA and teaches Art History at the University of Pittsburgh.   Our favorite art historian will present a slide show on “Sacred Art, High Strangeness and Geomantic Mysteries: an esoteric jaunt from Prehistoric Caves to Cathedrals.”

Jason Dzubow, an attorney in practice in Washington, DC will take a sub rosa look at “Justice Gone Awry, Part 2”: a fortean look at peculiar, and often hilarious legal cases.

Robert Gongloff, a life-long dream explorer living in Black Mountain, NC, is a member, and former Director of, the International Association for the Study of Dreams (Stan Krippner’s group).  He has chaired two international dream conferences and has led many dream discussion groups and workshops both in the Washington, DC and Ashville, NC metropolitan areas. He is the author of Dream Exploration: A New Approach (Llewellyn, due out in February 2006).   In his talk, “The Heart of the Dream,” Robert will explore with the audience the process of determining the theme of dreams and how to relate them to waking daily experiences.

Dr. Bruce Maccabee, Ph.D is the author of the FBI-UFO Connection. He is a Naval optical research physicist from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and past president of the Fund for UFO Research.  Information gathered over the last 25 years will be revealed in his lecture “Hawk Tales: the story of an Air Force Lt. Colonels’ brush with the “real Project Blue Book.”  Learn whether or not there really has been a major cover up.   Bruce says he will knock the audience’s socks off.

Sue Swiatek, of MUFON, on more “Haunting Tales from the Cryptozoo: Strange Creatures and Stranger Insects” plus an update on her first-hand research involving Budd Hopkins’ latest case.
